Message in a Bottle

I first saw the movie of the same name starring Kevin Costner (HUGE Kevin Costner fan!). My daughter and I went to the movie and just toward the end, a storm moved through and knocked out power for the whole city. We had to leave the theater in the dark. We didn't get to see the ending.
The first chance I got, I checked the book out of the library. I was heart-broken at the ending of the book, having had NO idea what would happen since I missed the end of the movie. Then, I made it a point to rent the movie to see if the ending was the same. IT WAS!!!!
This is a lovely story and I recommend it highly. Nicholas Sparks is the author of the book "A Walk To Remember".... also a love story recently made into a movie. I bought this paperback edition at a thrift shop so that I might release it into the wild. I hope someone finds it and enjoys it as much as I did.
