Extended Profile
I've been a reader since childhood. Books got me through the early years when my children were small and I was really tied down. My kids are grown up and I have half-grown grandchildren. I'm getting back to my reading now and I have a VERY long list of
"must reads".
I stumbled on BookCrossing in a Yahoo writer's group I belong to. I absolutely LOVE the concept. I'm having great fun releasing books. I have released books here in Dayton, in Humble (my home town), Houston, Atascocita, Liberty (where I work) and my brother has been kind enough to help me by releasing a book in the airport in London on his way to work in the Middle East. I was very pleased to get Dayton, Atascocita and Liberty on the list for the first time.
I work about 15 minutes from home and, though I still have little time for reading, I manage to read during lunch breaks and a little in the evenings.
