First book in this vampire series about a psychic detective and the vampire detective who find themselves after the same bad guy. Michael is a 300 year old vampire who no longer takes human blood to survive, he hasn't had blood or a woman in many lifetimes.. but he finds himself falling for Nikke James, a closed off, wounded woman she's tough as nails and thinks she doesn't need anyone.. but she finds herself needing Michael..
Together they have to go after a serial killer vampire who looks like 16 year old boy, who is killing innocent people all over Lyndhurst and then raising them from the dead to walk around as zombies and make Nikki and Michaels jobs harder..
During the course of the book all the cool powers this couple shares comes out and their relationship threatens to develop.. I really enjoyed this book with it's kick butt main characters and the touch of romance their developing relationship offers.. I am looking forward to getting my hands on the sequel.
