RELEASE NOTES:
I was browsing the go-hunting pages when I spotted a release location that I had not created recently. This would mean that a release alert had not been generated for me! Quick jump in the car and go to Oxfam to find the books (I am always in Oxfam browsing!) I could only find one of the books but find it I did! TBR and released in the tradition.

RELEASE NOTES:
Sending to MrMustard in Trade for Choke. Posted on 5 October.
Thanks Sterile. There's not a lot better than finding a big fat book waiting for you after a dull day at work. I'd avoided reading this for a while because I'm a bit contrary and every other bugger seemed to have a copy. Since then I've heard it recommended though, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
I was quite surprised by this. It's really nothing more than a slightly above average thriller. What surprises me is its universal popularity. A couple of months ago, you could get on any carriage of any tube in London and always see someone reading this. That's quite an achievement for such a mediocre piece of writing.
None of that is to say it's not enjoyable. It's a quick and easy read and a good bit of light entertainment. I just don't get why the world and his wife seemed to go so nuts for it for a while.
