A collection of stories, some better than others. Tasting rang so very true at the part about strip poker and why he played-seemed so honest and real. Snow, Glass, Apples was an interesting twist on an old favorite, though I don't like the ending. Now what happened, but how. Where she ends up doesn't feel right, to me. The story in the intro is kind of cool, if a bit creepy-the wedding present-is brenda a typo? I would love to read more in the vein of Murder Mysteries, the subject just fascinated me-i didn't like that it ended.
I generally pick it up and read one or two then put it down for awhile, months at a time. I don't clearly remember a lot of the other stories-I seem to recall liking Chivalry-but I'm not sure. Babycakes is just plain disturbing. In some ways I'm glad he went on to describe what was done to the babies, some how that made it less horrible and disturbing.
