Gute Reise!!

Received this book in a boxful of English-speaking books sent to me by fellow BCer dewinter from Germany. I offered to help her release them here in the States and hope to do so soon!!! : )

This arrived in the mail today, what a nice surprise. I haven't read anything by Nevada Barr yet. I am saving this to be read and released on a big trip I'm taking this summer. :-) Thanks BOOKWORMINUSALL and dewinter!

So, I unintentionally released this book in a seat-back pocket of an airplane in Los Angeles. I had read most of it on a trip to China but couldn't quite finish it in time to release there. Then I left it on the plane on my way back before I finished it- along with my glasses
:-( I did write to the airlines lost and found in the hopes that I would at least get my glasses back but it's been 3 months now so I'm giving up...

I did check the book out of the library so I could see how it ends. This was the first Nevada Barr I've read. I enjoyed the perspective of an older female detective working undercover. She is one tough chick! The ending was a bit meh but it held my attention. I will probably read more books by Barr in the future.
