'She felt for his hand and laced her fingers through his, and there was something in that gesture, in the slow lacing of fingers, the way she lowered their clasped hands to the floor, that told him that she knew.'

When Linda Fallon and Thomas Janes meet at a writers' festival in Toronto, it is hte first time they have seen each other for twenty-six years. Theirs is a story bound by the irresistible pull of true passion - a love which begins in Massachusetts in the early 1960s, is rekindled in Kenya in the 1970s, and which is about to play out its astonishing final episode...

Um, well it can do it without me because I just don't like Anita Shreve books at all. I have tried them and I just don't - and as I have had quite a few come my way this is someone else's gain for I am about to release them into the wild! :-)

Released 18 yrs ago (10/16/2005 UTC) at In The Bell Inn, 2 High St, Minster-in-Thanet in Minster-in-Thanet, Kent United Kingdom

Hi there,
My name is Bianca. Until yesterday I have never heard of book crossing but I think it's a fantastic idea. Even though we will probably never meet the people we share the books with, it will stil bring people closer together in a way. I am looking forward to giing this a try. See what happens. When I'm done I will release it into the wild for someone else to find it...
