I love all th Hillerman books for his obvious love of the southwest and his accuracy in Indian life. His people seem very real.

I was on vacation in New Mexico and while at the visitor center by the petroglyphs in Albuquerque read the flyleaf of this Tony Hillerman book, seeing as it had to do with the Anasazi and I'm a big mystery buff. Although tempted to buy it, I put it back on the shelf. Later that day, I found the same book in a bathroom stall in Old Town Albuquerque and it all seemed rather serendipitious to me. I was delighted to find it and plan to pass it on when I'm finished.
I think I've read all of Hillerman's books already. I know that I've read this one, but I'll read it again. I found this book at the post office on 2nd St. in Long Beach, CA. I was so excited!!! I'd read about book crossing in the LA times.
