My interest in this book was because I have been a admirer of Louisa May Alcott for many years. In Little Women, which is thought to be largely autobiographical, Jo writes scarry books that she isn't particularly proud of, because they will sell.
This sounded to me like one of these type of books, probably written by the author before she found her real nitch~writing books for young girls. It was interesting to me for that reason, although I did not finish it. It is not up to the quality that Alcott later wrote, though.

I found this book in a gazebo on bay street in florence oregon. I've read it before and I really enjoyed it! I'm so excited that this happened to me because I heard about it on tv and was hoping that I might get the opportunity to participate in something like this. I love reading and think that this is an awesome way to encourage it! Keep up the good work!I will leave the book by the the glaze meadow pool at the the black butte ranch in eastern oregon next week.
