Taking Lottie Home

Another great find at the Dollar Store.
Kind of a homey book that takes place in the early 1900's... which you really cannot tell by the cover. A young baseball player is cut from the pro-team he's been with for a short time and he has to come home... Lottie is just a girl on the train but she also happens to be the most beautiful girl in the world.

Just recieved in a trade through the mail. Thanks, greyflank!
This audiobook was really a nice story. It had a sweet "small town" voice. The way the place and the people in the book are portrayed gives a real feeling of nostalgia to the listener. The person who read the book was also excellent. He is a natural story teller, and the author's words came through beautifully, thanks to the reader's voice adn talent .
jimmielegs, thanks for the RABCK.
I recieved this earlier this week, but I was under the weather, so just a few days late on the JE. I do appreciate your kindness!
