This book came highly recommended by a friend of mine, but for some reason I didn't think it was that great. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the authors' style of writing, it has a dark element to it and it also very sensual. But I have to admit once the pooka, may I add a very sexy male stripper pooka who happens to be the hero of this book came along, I just laughed out. My idea of pooka is like Harvey, you know that one from that old movie starring Jimmy Stewart (which happens to be one of my favorites). But this one, Romeo/Roman is part human part pooka horse, is super sexy, but to me a pooka isn't sexy, it's adorable and mischivious. IT'S JUST WRONG! And the heroine is supposed to be a super strong half sylph and siren. And did I mention the King of the Goblins?! Yep, there's one. It's not a great book but it's definitely very entertaining.
