Sending to Kiptos through BookRelay
Received in the mail today, thanks devon612. Have been wanting to read this for a long time. Will start on it after my current read. And thanks for the lovely postcard.
Quite a good read but I built up too much expections for this book while waiting for it, so when it didn't meet my standards, it was a little disappointing. Dumb but I never learn. :P
About a plain woman Nell Calder whose face was ruined and given a new face which transformed her into a swan. Initially, she wanted to die as she felt guilty over not being able to protect her daughter, but Nicholas Tanek who saved her, gave her motivation to live: revenge against the murderer who had killed her daughter.

I picked this up wanting something engaging to take my mind off revision stress and it certainly did that. Nicely paced and well written, a bit tense, a bit of romance, a twist part way through that I didn't see coming - great!! Will definitely look out for more of her books.
Thanks again Kis!!

Gave this to my sister to read but found it hanging around at my parents whilst there for Christmas. Have taken it back to release elsewhere.

A nice change from my previous couple of books, which I've struggled with, this was a well-paced thriller with a good twist that I definitely didn't see coming. A great read.
