It was quite exciting to receive my very first book by mail and free, maybe that's why i had big expectations. I can't say i hated it, though; there were parts i really enjoyed, and i really liked the way the author described things so perfectly and with such detail you almost feel your there.

However, i must say there was something i didn't like, and it's how he described Lindy, so dependable and troubled that she´d make anything Sam would say. I mean, i know it was the early 70´s but still,women back then were already self suficient, and he practically used her and made her work day and night so he could aford his trip. Shame on him!!!

I put it out of the Big Yellow BookBox. I exchanged it with my Wild Animus Exemplar but i forgot to make an jorunal entry.I will take it with me to Riga at 26th.

Hey, I found this book in the hostel I was staying at in Riga while I was there in October. I'm living in Helsinki, Finland for the year before heading home to Canada. I'll leave this book in my apartment before I go and hopefully the next student will enjoy it as much as I have.
