1974 Fawcett Crest paperback, with a $1.95 cover price, of the 1973 multiple Book Club Selection tale of a young woman navigating life around three men who are in turn "obsessive," "brilliant and successful," and "dynamic." No regular working Joe slobs here with her, it seems, so she must be a bit of a hot womanly property in this tale that appeals to women readers of such things. I found this copy a couple days ago in the Asilomar Little Free Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1959 In the Old World (short story) [read 2019]
1966 Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been? (short story) [read 2019]
1969 them (short story) [read 2020]
1972 The Lady with the Pet Dog (short story) [read 2020]
Edit October 9, 2023: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It runs very long. I currently have this ranked at #7422 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
