Summer Freeman lives and runs a café on a canal boat, alongside boyfriend and wildlife photographer Mason, who Summer plans to propose to. When the two are asked to join a posse of boats heading to London for a Christmas fair, Summer's plans are put at risk. This is super-saccharine, the two have a really schmaltzy relationship, and I hate the idea of a big proposal which puts pressure on the other party to accept... Nevertheless it's a sweet story and a relaxing read.
