I found this book on the top of a newspaper stand in San Diego (about 1 block in different directions of La Mesa, Santee, and El Cajon) in a Ralph's Grocery Store shopping center back in about February of 2004. As I was in the middle of moving (though I had planned to read it almost immediately), somehow, it was packed away and went into storage. I didn't make my move to AZ until very late June and my house is not completed as well as the garage so most of my things have been in storage. I bring a box or two at a time and sort and put away the contents. Somehow, the book appeared on my end table and I had not been aware it was unpacked. That was Tuesday, September 21, 2004 and I started reading it on Wednesday and finished it this morning, Friday September 24, 2004. I am an avid reader and also read in three other books while I was reading this one. I really enjoy Belva Plain and as much as I read, was not aware this was in the series starting with Evergreen. I will be leaving it somewhere here in AZ to be found and enjoyed as much as I did.
