Turquoise is a vampire hunter. She was once a slave to a cruel vampire but she managed to escape with the help of another vampire. Now, she must kill a powerful one named Jeshikah. She enters Midnight, a vampire society, as a human slave once again where she meets Jaguar, a kind slave owner. She also comes face to face with the first one she escaped from.
Pretty good book. I didn't know it was a teen book until after I started reading it. It says 12 and up but to me it's a little intense for younger kids.
