The Man Who Planted Trees

I loved everything about this book. The first thing that intrigued me was the tiny size--about 4x3 inches. Then I noticed the beautiful woodcut illustration. So I took it home. The fable was inspiring. Made me realize the importance of trees and how deeply they affect our existence. The Afterword about the author Jean Giono was fascinating. If it wasn't for a Little Free Library that housed this book, I don't think I would have the opportunity to know this fable. Little Free Libraries exude serendipity. I'll be putting it back in the LFL I found it in.
