emmejo sent me a very generous RABCK box several months ago, and this book was among the book's she sent. This novel looks intriguing, but realistically ... I don't think I'll get to it any time soon.
Lisa See was also the author of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, so if you liked that book as many people did, you'll enjoy this one, as well. This story takes place in 17th-century China, and involves the loves, secrets and tragedies of three generations of women.

During the MPTV wine tasting event. I forgot that I had brought BookCrossing books to circulate, but I left this book on a cabaret table as the event was winding down. I checked back a few minutes later, and the book was gone.
Found at the Pabst Mansion. The book was a bit too paranormal for me, but grew on me as I read it and was a fascinating look into Chinese history and culture.
