Bought and read as part of the Big Read 100. Quite entertaining but the only top 100 poll that I would put it in would be top 100 shortest books I have ever read!

I really liked this book - especially the upside-down bits. I sonly started reading it lat night and finished it before school this morning. It is very funny.

My son got this in the post yesterday and was really pleased. He has asked me to send it to Aunty Sandy(undead) who is trying to do the big read too. I couldn't resist reading it too first. It was a very silly book - I love the illustrations, it reminds me of the Jackanori strories about a big black bird that Bernard Cribbins used to narate - which I think Quentin Blake must have illustrated.

Thanks for sharing - this book will travel on later this week.

What can I say... is it even possible to become tired of Roald Dahl? This is yet another one of his books that I've read again and again and never seems to loose its charm! I'm getting started on writing journal entries, so it's a bit late.
