A. W. Pink in his 'The Attributes of God' quoted from S. Charnock is sever of his essays.

This particular book is two volumes in one, republished by Baker Books in 1996. It was originally published as 'Discourses upon the Existence and Attributes of God' by Robert Carter & Brothers, 1853

There is an 18 page essay by Wm. Symington, D.D. on the Life and Character of Charnock.

Vol. 1 has discourses 'On the Existence of God', On Practical Atheism', 'On God's Being a Spirit', 'On Spiritual Worship', 'On the Eternity of God', 'On the Immutability of God', 'On God's Omnipresence', 'On God's Knowledge', and 'On the Wisdom of God'.

Vol. 2 has discourses 'On the Power of God', 'On the Holiness of God', 'On the Goodness of God', 'On God's Dominion', 'On God's Patience'.

I think this is going to be a real 'meat & potatoes' book!
