From the Back Cover:

Once a struggling town, Stoneham, New Hampshire, is now enjoying a renaissance - thanks to booksellers like Tricia Miles, proprietor of Haven't Got a Clue. It's a great place to find a good mystery to read - or to solve...

To celebrate her bookstore's anniversary, Tricia Miles hosts a book signing for bestselling author Zoë Carter. But the event takes a terrible turn when the author is found dead in the washroom. Before long, both police and reporters are demanding the real story. So far, the author's obnoxious assistant/niece is the only suspect. With a sheriff who provides more obstacles than answers, Tricia will have to take matters into her own hands - and read between the lines to solve this mystery...

Oh, thank you Hippolien! This arrived today--so quickly! I have been wanting to read more from this author since reading the first book in the series while visiting my sister, years ago. It looks like such a fun read...I will try to not read it too soon, though, as I am supposed to be clearing off older books from my shelves! Don't think this one will last long, though.
On another note, I also really thought the label you used was fantastic, with the cute little cookies with their arms bit off. So cute!

Ack, if all I read were cozies, I could read thousands of books a year. Well, not really. But two in a row is, certainly, pleasant. I intended to hold off on it. No such luck! I was a little worried, after so long since reading the first book, that it wouldn’t be as good as I remembered. I’ve read some pretty lousy cozies since, that really insulted the readers’ intellingence in the mystery or had huge flaws or just plain annoying characters. Though this has a few stereotypes, of course (Sheriff Wendy—if she’s that stupid, how’d she ever get elected?) overall it’s filled with well-thought out likeable, realistic characters. And while I saw the final twist coming, it was near the end and not enough to lessen my enjoyment. Liked the development of her sister relationship—and that her sis got an agent unconventionally—and also the agent & --’s relationship. Good. Enjoyed it wildly, look forward to more in this and her other, craft series, which I've just find out she's written as well (under a different name). Thanks again for this, Hippolein. I might hang on to it for a little while, if you don't mind...!

Good heavens, two parcels from 3vie on the same day!! This must be my very lucky day. I've read one book of this series and liked it a lot, so looking forward to reading this as well.
It's been just a couple of weeks when I saw Hippolein last and now his book comes to me via Nepal and the UK!!! This book has done quite a journey!

Journal Entry 10 by wingkirjakkowing at Helsinki, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Monday, July 2, 2012
I'm diminishing my Mt.Tagged pile and I liked this better than the first of the series (Murder is Binding).
The little sideline of the booktown being cursed with wintering Canadian geese is very familiar; we have them now... The amount of poo they produce! And why do they come to cities when there is ample of unhabited coastline here?? The writer made a few errors, though. They are not aggressive unless they have chicks and they do not have chicks in the winter... My younger dog knows she will get a treat each time she chases them up, so she hurries to them and back on each walk. I only have to check first that the flock in question only has adults in it.
The other plot was very familiar as well, we've had a somewhat similar case in Finland - minus the murders. Can't say more as I don't want to spoil anything from future readers, but it does happen in real life!

This was a nice book, I enjoyed it - cozy but also exciting enough to keep me interested! What I would wish, is that there could be even more about books in these books, after all, the main characters are booksellers and they live in booktown.
