I certainly enjoy as my screen name implies the study and practice of yoga. I live to read and think that it is a gift to be passed on which is why I've decided to join bookcrossing. I read any and all things from biographies to magazines (an expensive consuming habbit) to nonfiction by the cart load. I love fiction for the information about things that i have yet to try. I rarely do not finish a book good or bad. Guess its the education major in me that thinks all literature will have some bit of worth inside its pages. I grew up with public libraries as my escape to a world of knowledge that I had yet to see and experience. In my adulthood I find my self fortunate to now seek those places and nuanses that I read about so many years ago. I have no doubt those many books had a tremendous impact in shaping the person I am today. It is an old cliche that knowledge is power. I believe we empower ourselves from the pages of many a book read.
