I am first, of course, an avid reader. I read about 2-5 novels a month, depending on the length of the novels, how I feel about reading (sometimes I want to keep reading on till past dark, just living right in the book, other times I want to read a bit slower, savoring the story), and also how much time I have to sit and read.

I also read a lot with my children (we have 5 children; ages 8yrs, 6yrs, 4yrs, 2yrs, and a newborn) we sometimes just read a short story book, other times we read a children's chapter book, a few chapters at a time.

In addition to being a reader, wife, and mother, I am a teacher, a Girl Scout Leader, and Troop Organizer for my kids' school. I am a dream gardener, which means that I dream of a garden, but do not have one. I am an amateur photographer (www.flickr.com/photos/trishia). I am in love with art, Modigliani is my favorite artist of all.

Can't think of much else- I am looking forward to getting to know some other readers and to passing on some of my books- this is a great concept!
