If you see any of my books that are Available that you want, you can ask for them and I'd be happy to pass them on. If you would like to read one of my To Be Read books, ask and I can bump it up on my "to be read" pile. I can't PROMISE that I'll pass the book on, say if it turns out to be my all time favorite and I can't bear to part with it, but there is a good chance that I'll either give it to you or start a bookring with it. I do normally let my husband, sister, and parents get first chance to read any of my books before I release them, though.
I'm working on list of all of the books I own. We'll see if I ever get that updated!
Some of the notable books I read in 2005 include The Things They Carried, The Confessions of Max Tivoli, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, The Red Tent, Girl Interupted, Catcher in the Rye, The Bell Jar, The Lover, The Body Artist, So You Wanna Be a Rock and Roll Star, 1984, Just Checking, The Song Reader, and Middlesex. I didn't read a TON of books, but I probably did read about 20. This year I'd like to read 50, but I will be happy if I can do 40.
I enjoy reading everything, pop fiction to literature, nonfiction to ... Well, just about everything!
I live in NYC and release most of my books there. I do look for books, but I never seem to find any that have BCIDs! I have found non BC books though, and I will be turning those into BC books once I finish reading them. :) I've released a couple of books, but so far none have been found. I will continue to release books from time to time. I also want to start participating in bookrays and bookrings and such. I also plan on going to the library's book sale to see what books I can get there that would be fun to pass on in rings, rays, boxes, RABCK, and other kinds of releases.
Other interests include enjoying all the cultural opportunities, architectural beauty, and all of the other wonderful things that NYC has to offer, such as Broadway plays and musicals, concerts, museums, etc. I enjoy walking around in Manhattan. I also have a very strong fondness for music. I have over TONS of CDs and I listen to lots of podcasts and go to live concerts all the time. In fact, I have a podcast of my own! Its at my website above. I also have a wonderful husband, and we share our apartment with our 4 cats.
Thanks, Cliff! :)
