We recently moved into this location and opened to the public for the first time on April 14th, 2004. It was renovated for the library and is very beautiful. It was formerly the First National Bank built in 1861. Along with antique chandeliers, marble floors and columns, beautiful mahogny wood bookcases we also have a cafe, auditorium, several private meeting rooms, an art gallery, an outdoor terrace, a local history department, a room full of videos and recorded books, the original bank vault where movies are shown, an a large children's room. We also have wireless Internet for your laptop and over 100 computers with Internet and most all Microsoft programs for public use.
