I discovered bookcrossing by chance, a lucky chance, i can say now.

I have had an affair with a bookcrosser that has ended with him running away with two of my favourite books!

Now, i have always been rather feticist with my books, never been quite so used and willing to share them and even more so to free them up in the hands of "others". And here comes a man who takes advantage of my temporary lack of mental sanity due to senti-mental illness to surreptitiously intrude into my library and disappear with two books of mine.

Even worse, he has not subsequently answered to any of my pleading and none of my dramatic and tears shreding e mail, voice, phone, written, screamed, pictured messages to claim back the above books.

I had an option, either to go and kill the guilty one, clearly after rescuing the books, or to wisely revert to past yoga experience and, at the dawn of my late 30s, learn to leave.

So i have decided and i may well have lost a lover but i have surely gained wisdom!

Reading is like jumping over every boundaries, running fast through wilderness and splashing into an immense blue, either of skies or endless seas.

Intimately an artist, i work with numbers for a living. But i adore words, yelled, screamed, written, scribbled and whispered.

Leggere è una passione, una necessità, una libertà ed un desiderio. Vorrei poter pensare le parole che leggo e trattenerle solo così, mentre la carta viaggia, oltre i confini della mia libreria, cade dai cuscini del divano, rotola sul tappeto, attraversa i muri del mio salotto, scende le scale, apre il portone e si mette a correre per le strade della città.

Faccio fatica però a staccarmi da molta di questa carta che è per me come la coperta per Linus. Ecco quindi spiegata la lista, già lunga e che si allungherà, di libri "personal collection", che sono di fatto i libri che più ho amato, sino ad ora.
