Extended Profile
Hello
I am a 53 year old Sp.Ed teacher in WV. with 2 cats, one 30 year old daughter, who lives four hours away, and a beautiful 19 month granddaughter named Lauren . Both of them were born on November 9th.Cool, huh.
I love auctions and community theatre.I have an interest in new age spirituality ,although I am a would be Quaker.I also do community plays at the Ice-House, and have been in four productions in the four years I lived here. Before that I was a member of the Westmoreland players in the Neck.
As far as books go, I like books that combine aspects of actual facts with mystery, humor and spirituality. In my personal lists of favorites ,please put 5 stars by Sharyn McCrumb and Madelyn Le Engle.Whittig-Albert, JJ Jance, Nevada Barr are other favorites. Margaret Coel too. Tamar Myers. Its' going to be great to belong to this site, and find each other ,I need to let Rogi in Cleveland know about this site!
I'd like to especially know about low-level high interest stories at about a third and fourth grade reading level that deal with ancient cultures that my kids would enjoy reading. Ones that aren't too preachy or obviously trying to teach about ancient cultures.
Whew,I'm going on forever. Please return the favor and tell me about you.
