Extended Profile
A little about what sort of books I'll be listing on my bookshelf and why.
While I enjoy good literature on occasion, I really read to escape. So to escape, I like really dirty, smutty, contemporary romance. Nothing that Danielle Steele would write or something that Fabio would be on the cover of though.
I also enjoy chic-lit. Anything about a woman searching for love entertains me. Books about a mother struggling to raise her teenagers or mother/daughter issues do not. I don't find any form of escape in something as clothed in responsibility as family struggles.
Finally, and this is odd, I really dig sports stories. Don't know why. I just enjoy the typical testoserone filled book about some athlete and his trials and tribulations.
