ok so now there are no Star Wars books left at my local library for me to read and perhaps it's time i expanded my mind a little (you mean books have uses other than as beer coasters???).
i tend, out of laziness and habit i suppose, to re-read decent books many, many times and hopefully this site will help me get out of this trend. So far i've met some cool people and gotten my hands on some cool books too. Most importantly however, i've given some life/mind/spirit-altering literature to some folks who i only hope can handle it. My favourite subject is social deviance of any kind (sex, drugs and rock n' roll, baby!), and i list Welsh, Burroughs and Thompson among the geniuses of all time. If anyone has any of Burroughs' more coherent works (Junkie etc.) i'd love to get a hold of them (Burroughs Jr is cool too- speed vs. smack). But first on my list to re-read for the fiftieth time is Watership Down, which is about rabbits (no drugs, but i'm sure they do it doggy style) as my copy has been shredded....
Now, someone with more motivation than i really needs to start a site just like this but for music CDs. Think about it.........
