Extended Profile
I am a mom of three girls-two living, one not-and I hope to raise them in the reading tradition! I have been reading (and loving it) for as long as I can recall and I can remember being read to a lot as a small child by my mom and my great-grandpa. Most
of the women in my family are readers as well. It's hard to find me, my mom, my aunt, or my grandma without a book of some sort in the works. The men (my uncles) tend to read only books of special interest to them so they aren't constantly with their noses
in a book.
My girls are both younger than 4 but they love to look at books and they often steal my magazines from me while I am trying to read so that they can look at the pictures. My husband says their room looks like a library because they have two built in shelves stuffed with kids' books.
