Extended Profile
I've been an avid reader all my life. As a child, after being sent to bed, I would stand at my bedroom window and try to finish my book, by the light of the street lamp outside.
I tend to read more non-fiction as an adult and enjoy reading bios and autobios.
It's a rare day indeed when I haven't read anything. I think I would rather sacrifice a limb than lose the ability to read.
You can learn so much about the world through books - I'm constantly amazed to meet people who've never picked up a book since leaving school.
Looking forward to the day when I can read the Sydney Morning Herald in bed without disturbing my partner with the rustle!
