I'm a single mother of one very active teenage boy. We live in Homer, Alaska which is a quaint fishing village and artists community on the tip of the Kenai Peninsula, right on Kachemak Bay. I have been reading since I was three years old, and published my first short story at age 13 years. More recently, I won the University Foundation's Beck Writing Award and look forward to expanding my abilities here in Homer - this place just gives off the BEST vibes! I'm an anthropologist and love the mixtures of cultures here in Alaska.
