Extended Profile
Discovered bookcrossing while living in Barcelona, Spain, and it was a helpful lifeline and even introduced me to a great friend. I hope while in New York to also be able to meet people who like to read and want to discuss books, ideas, writing, etc.
Some of my books are in transit, others packed up but I do have a few available for Xing.
Currently reading:
The Order of Things, Michel Foucault
The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini
Just Read:
Nickel & Dimed, Barbara Ehrenreich
The Long Night of White Chickens, Francisco Goldman
Looking for:
Stuff by Mishima, Murakami, Banana Yashimoto (and other strong jap lit)
Excellent graphic novels (with story, i.e. Persepolis, Art Spiegelman)
Bruce Chatwin books
and other great collections of short stories (especially lit journals) and things to get me thinking
