When I was 8 years old I use to read on my bed all weekend. I'd have a stack of 5 or 6 readers on my left side, read a chapter and put it down on my right before picking up the next one. I don't do this anymore but I don't go far without a book in my posession. Did I tell you I like to smell books? There's something about the lingering smell of a novel which will instantly remind me of a book read years ago. A bit like a flashback I guess. Novels are my true nirvana but non-fiction does it for me too. I wrote a very successful non-fiction a couple of years ago. It had a small print run but was sold out within 8 months of release.
