Extended Profile
A friend introduced me to BookCrossing in Jan this year (03) I moved at the end of February, pretty quickly, to take a job here. I gave away more than half my books to my former co-workers as I did not wish to move nothing but books. (Believe me this is
not an exaggeration I gave away something near 200 books) I did not have the time to register them, though there are days I wish I had. To me, losing books is more difficult than losing a lover, books take me places no lover ever could. So, I am grateful to
Ron and his 'labor of love' for I know my beloved books are going to those who will care for them and pass them on to be cared for by others. It took me months to come to the realization that I once again needed to make room in my house for more books. Since
I agree that a closed book does no one any good, the decision was made. But, where to release them? Most around here, if they read, read romance or christian books. So, I made the offer on the forum and my books have found good homes. And of course, this means
I can get new books to put on my semi-empty shelves. :~)
