I keep meaning to come back here, but there just aren't enough hours in the day. Especially if I'm going to read! I'm reading a book by Shirly MacLaine right now called Out on a Limb. That woman is absolutely AMAZING! And so intelligent! I am so impressed. She's a facinating writer and I am enjoying her book immensely.

Holy smokes, I can't believe how long it's been since I've been here! Way too long! Family life & work have been taking up much of my time. I get a few hours here & there to read, but not much computer time. I got a PM the other day from a bookcrosser, and I just had to come and check out her profile and then I had to re-check out mine! And oh my goodness! Hey, maybe this will kick-start me to releasing books and getting back into the game. I was so involved for awhile; I miss it!
I have a new hobby, though. Scrapbooking. :-D I love it! I know, I know, so many people are in to it and it's been around FOREVER. But I just got into it and I'm LOVING it! So that takes up time, too.
Like I said, I hope to get back into the game.

I found this site because of a testimonial on www.flylady.net. I LOVE books, and was excited to become a part of this organization. I'm not sure how successful I'll be at releasing my books (did I say that I loved books? *vbg*) but I'm going to try.
I read and reread (and reread and reread...) almost all of the books that I have. This is why releasing them will be such a challenge. But I am excited to try, and see what others think of the books I love so much.
I mostly ready fantasy/sci-fi type books, but I get recomendations from friends and family and read what they loan me as well. This has gotten me to read a lot of Stephen King and others I wouldn't normally read.
I have been married for 18 years, and we have a 10 year old son, who is experiencing the joys of reading as well. It's so gratifying to see him reading his books!
Books, horses, and gemstones are my passion, pretty much in that order!
Thank you for this site, and I hope to come here regularly.
