TBR

This book is one of the author's earlier novels recently republished and in an Introduction the author says "Okay, if this is the first book of mine you're going to try, stop now. Return it. Grab another. It's okay. I'll wait..."

But I actually enjoyed this book. The author's style has undoubtedly changed for the better over the years but I thought the book was alot better than some of the authors who have had years to improve their writing and only seem to get worse!

Okay, so some of the dialogue is a little bit ham and the plot was a bit over dramatic but nevertheless I still enjoyed it. It was fast paced and had a few unexpected (for me anyway!) twist and turns and I wouldn't put anybody off from giving this book a go.
