It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

BOOK DESCRIPTION:

"Divorced culinary artist Goldy Korman owns Goldilocks Catering in Aspen Meadows, Colorado.

Goldy, in business to support herself and her 11-year-old son, Arch, caters the gathering after the funeral of Arch's teacher, at which her former father-in-law, gynecologist Fritz Korman, drinks from a poisoned cup.

While the police make sure that Goldy is now "catering to nobody," she begins her own investigation to clear herself. As amorous detective Tom Schulz courts her, Goldy courts danger, seeking connections among the recovered Fritz, the teacher and nearly everyone else in the rustic town, including her teenage lodger, Patty Sue." (Description from Amazon.com.)

First in the Goldy Culinary Mystery series.

Got this for my pal, TheOtherMrsH, who has been reading other Goldy mysteries, but not this first one.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

(Apologies for taking longer than I planned. I had received a few bookrings that had to be read first.)

I really enjoyed this fun mystery so much I finished it in on sitting! Perfect for a Sunday afternoon. This is the first in the series by Davidson and I enjoyed meeting all the characters. You will so enjoy Goldy ~ if you haven't read it yet! Not sure how I feel about her son Arch (it looks like he may have a dark plot twist in a future book). The murder mystery had several twists and turns until the very end! I am glad that I read this and will continue to look for this author's books in the future. I have a couple on my shelf unregistered and will be trying to read this series in order.

I love a fun mystery! Some fun recipes to try is always an added bonus. I also read the introduction by the author which helped set my interest in the whole series.

Thank you, Germanophile, for sharing this with me and I am sending it out today to TheOtherMrsH.
