I enjoyed this long-time-coming follow-up to 'Pillars Of The Earth' but it truly didn't compare. Worth the read but I'm pretty sure nothing will ever compare the 'Pillars'.

I've already passed this to Penny and will offer it to Jeanne and Vicki next.
