Arrived safely today ~ thank you so much for the wishlist RABCK! Plus I already see there is another story in this book that looks interesting. I am doing the BC happy dance and can't wait to read it and pass it along.

For future readers, my wishlist was for Daddy's Girl by Lisa Scottoline. =) I will JE all that I read though! =)

I read two of the four stories in the book. Actually three but one not in this instance.

No Time for Goodbye by Linwood Barclay ~ What a great read! I wasn't sure what to expect as this is a new author for me. The storyline kept my interest throughout with many twists and turns in the plot. It was an interesting page turner which will be enjoyed by many to come. Give it a read! Looking forward to finding more by this author.

Daddy's Girl by Lisa Scottoline ~ Another good read by Scottoline. Perhaps because it was a 'condensed' version or because it reminded me of a movie I watched a few years ago, it was not one of my favorites by Scottoline but still an enjoyable read. That said, I'm very glad that I was able to sit down and read it nearly in one sitting! (So it still was a good thriller and well written.) I am looking forward to moving on to the rest of her books!

While Thunder Bay looked interesting, I noticed it is part of a character line or series and I decided to skip it for now. If I spot it again though, it might be one I pick up and share with hubby. I just want to keep this book moving quickly and read some more of what is currently on my Mt TBR. I really looked interesting though. (Watch me read it before I move it on now! lol.)

I Heard that Song Before by MH Clark ~ I didn't read it this time because I read the full version when it first came out. Nice easy read kind of mystery. I am not a huge fan of her work as I was many years ago. But its still an enjoyable read.

Will be moving this along to Southernfryed shortly. I know it will be enjoyed by several in that household! =)

DVG-you are an amazing bookcrosser-thanks for always thinking of me. I am a Mary Higgins Clark fan as well as a new Scottoline fan, so I am sure I will enjoy this book.

This is another book I never meant to keep forever. Way too many good books waiting on me! Hubby read it long ago. I'm reading this book now because the What to Read for April theme (in the bookcrossing forum) includes Spring Cleaning and this book has been sitting on my toberead shelf longer than any other book. As DVG stated, book 3 Thunder Bay is a series book that is part of a series that I am not reading, so I will be skipping that one as well. Book 4, I Heard That Song Before by Mary Higgins Clark, I read back in 2008, so I don't plan to read it again. I do love MHC's books though.

No Time for Goodbye by Linwood Barclay
I have never read anything by this author before and had no expectations. It got me from the get go though. Lots of twists and turns and kept me guessing right up until the end at what happened 25 years prior as well as who was killing in the present. I would definitely read another book by Barclay.

Daddy's Girl by Lisa Scottoline
I felt like I needed more details a couple of times reading this abridged version. BUT like most Scottoline books, it held my attention and several twits and turns to keep it interesting. Definitely look forward to my next Scottoline!
