This book about two kids who run away to live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art was one of my favorites when I was younger. It's still a good read.
Sending this out today to Sweden for Silverstone, who claimed it on the BookRelay site.
It has just arrived in the mail today, thank you Sugarkane. I have already started to read it, very enjoyable so far!!
This was a highly enjoyable young readers book! Claudia and Jamie are such fun characters, and to follow their adventures and se their inner growth is a pleasure. There is a lot of laughs and unexpected twists and turns.
This is a book that will speak to both children and adults.

A really nice read, couldn´t stop when I started to read it yesterday, so I stayed up way too late. It's going to be a tired day at work today, but totally worth it! I loved the story and the characters. I loved the idea of the need for change and how the children were so different from each other but how they had respect and care for each other. I would have loved to meet Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler and take a peak in her files...
