Five mutilated corpses in London, one hard-boiled detective with personal problems, and a mocking criminal. There's nothing new in this book, and the twists are predicatable, but the writing is smooth enough that it flies by. A good junk-reading book for summer. It's worth a go.

I found the book in the Lost and Found in OIM Computer Lab, Basement, David Kinley Hall, Urbana, IL. I will not be reading the book. I have passed it on to a friend who has plans to read it.
