Archy McNally, the main character in the McNally series by Lawrence Sanders, is a witty, verbose man who loves good food, spirited drink, most women, and natty clothes. he also has a job doing "discreet inquiries" for his father's law firm. These always turn into full out private investigations, which always end up being less than private. Archy is always entertaining and usually quite funny. Go find him. Enjoy!
