Invisible Man
2 journalers for this copy...
Read this in a college course when I had finally decided to be an English major. My favorite professor of all time, Bob Coleman, made us read this. I hemmed and hawed. And now, 10 years later, realize what a great book this really is. This is Dave's copy.

My husband and I walked downtown to the Farmer's Market in the Plaza. I decided to sprinkle a little literary karma along the way!
I left this along with Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" from THEWHEELBARROW bookshelf on the bench.

Journal Entry 3 by Ginger-Parkin from Finchley, Greater London United Kingdom on Friday, June 10, 2005
I heard about book crossing but never came across a book. I often leave books for others to read but had never signed up to the scheme because ... I could never remember what it was called! Tony and I were walking back to the Inn from Della Santini restaurant in Sonoma, on our last night of honeymoon, and there it was on a bench, together with a Kafka. It was fortuitous - I was looking for a book on race issues to read on my way home. The book is now in Buckinghamshire, England, and I will pass it on when I have read it. I will also register with book crossing, right now!

an interesting book which does not at any time suffer from smugness. Deserves to be read.
I left it on a coffee table in the station - I hope no one thinks it's a suspicious package, given what recently has been happening in London!
