The Deep End of the Ocean
3 journalers for this copy...
I have another registered copy of Deep End, but it's set aside for the Virtual Box, hopefully coming my way soon! But I have this lovely copy, too, so I will register it for a trade with the screaming.

Thanks so much for the book, Deb. I can't wait to read it.

I had to take a break from reading this book. It's probably because I've read so many "depressing" books lately that it has really crapped out my mood. I'm going to try to finish it shortly.
I finally finished this book. Part one was so slow moving it felt like it took forever to get through it. Part two went very quickly though. The ending kind of stupidfied me though, with Ben/Sam's decision, and wish that some of the loose ends involving the family were tied up. What happened between Pat and Beth? Did Vincent ever change? I just wish there was a prologue that told you all about this (maybe that was in the very first chapter and I've just forgotten - and I know it started in the 90s then went to the 80s). I still don't understand how a child can be kidnapped, given all this press coverage, and the kid is around the corner the entire time.
