I really really enjoyed this book. I've always liked books where the central characters are lawyers, especially prosecuting DA's who comprise one of the main focuses here. Also enjoyed the glimpses of life and geography of Charleston. The characters are well drawn and believable although not always likeable. There are many sub-plots within the tale; clues and mis-leading clues led me to change my suspected villains frequently. Suspense is rife throughout the book and I like the way that each chapter ends off on something that makes one just have to continue reading. I've lost far too much sleep over the weekend but will certainly look for more books by this author.
Many thanks Edwardstreet for selecting this for me.
