Trying to broaden my reading horizons -- picked this one up at a library book sale and thought I would give it a try. The overview reminds me a bit of the premise of the original Battlestar Gallactica TV series that ran when I was a kid (haven't seen the new series, so don't know if that has the same premise).

Similar to a Bradbury book, in that it consists of a bunch of different short stories, but they are all connected to the same time period with overlapping plot points (Luna City, the construction of the space station, etc.). The stories are quite good and very readable, although they are a little dated. Strangely the thing that dates them the most is the fact that everyone smokes cigarettes everywhere; the attitude toward women is also somewhat dated, though much more subtle. Still, an enjoyable read overall and one I would recommend to others.
