Can a forged painting be an original? Strange tale of a modern artist who forges a masterpiece done by the 17th century artist Velaquez. But in the process of doing so he seems to trade time and place with Velaquez. Who actually created the painting? A bit of a genre bender, or is it? Excellent book for readers who enjoy seeing concepts such as reality and truth questioned.
