a little worried about this book - when we were there buying our tree, I stuck this book in a Ziploc bag and nestled it in the branches of a tree (toward the Burbank Blvd. side of the lot, near the sign that says Thrifty Trees)..it was barely drizzling at the time, but the rain is really picking up and I just heard (yeah, a little late) that it's going to pour tonight. Just how waterproof IS a Ziploc bag??

Super unrealistic, but simple and entertaining.

Sorry, new to this. The book survived the rain very well !! Was sooo excited to find this as I had been with someone, years ago, when they found one. We had searched and were not able to find a tree. We were starting to worry...went online and found this lot...so we drove there and while my daughter was looking she pulled this out and my family said that I got so excited I took it right out of her hand and told them about it. I admit I was excited but hey !! They kinda thought I was batty but anyhow it was really cool also that I had read all Mary Higgins Clark many years ago so I already knew I would enjoy the book. I have not decided where to leave it next...soooo thanks for a great find and really fun read...Happy New Year !!!!
